Function and usage of CNC bending machine core rod
Sep 18, 2023
The core rod of the CNC pipe bending machine mainly plays a role in supporting the inner wall of the pipe bending radius during the bending process to prevent its deformation. At present, it is difficult to guarantee the quality of domestically produced pipes bent and formed on machine tools without the use of core rods. There are many forms of core rods, such as cylindrical core rods, universal single, double, three, and four ball head core rods, directional single, and multiple ball head core rods, etc. In addition, the position of the core rod also has a certain impact on the bending forming of the conduit: theoretically, its tangent should be flush with the tangent of the bending die, but after a large number of experiments, it has been proven that it is better to advance 1-2 mm, and at this time, the quality of the bending is relatively ideal. Of course, too much advance can cause the appearance of the so-called 'goose head' on the outer wall of the curved part.
Generally speaking, CNC pipe bending machines with large pipe diameters and small bending radii are prone to internal wrinkling and slipping during bending, making it difficult to ensure bending quality. Therefore, it is generally better to choose a pipe bending die with an R value of 2-3 times the pipe diameter. The size of the bending radius of the catheter determines the resistance it experiences during bending and forming.
When designing and arranging pipes, it is necessary to avoid excessively large arcs, arbitrary curves, composite bends, and larger than 180. Arc of. The excessively large arc not only makes the fixture bulky, but also limited by the size of the pipe bending machine tool; The design of arbitrary curves and composite bends is very unreasonable, greatly hindering mechanized and automated production, making it difficult for operators to get rid of heavy physical labor; Greater than 180. The arc makes it impossible for the pipe bending machine to unload the mold.
The main impact of the bending forming speed of the pipe bending machine on the forming quality is:
If the speed is too fast, it is easy to cause the bending part of the catheter to be flat, and the roundness cannot meet the requirements, causing the catheter to crack or break; If the speed is too slow, it can easily cause wrinkling of the catheter and slipping of the compression block, and large diameter pipes can easily cause the bending part of the catheter to sink. For a large number of experiments on these two CNC pipe bending machines, it is appropriate to determine the bending speed of the conduit as 20% -40% of the maximum bending speed of the machine.
The bending radius of CNC pipe bender should try to achieve one pipe the first mock examination and multiple pipes the first mock examination. For a pipe, no matter how many bends there are, and what the bending angle is, the bending radius can only be one, because the pipe bender does not change the module during the bending process, which is a the first mock examination for one pipe. Multiple pipes with one the first mock examination means that pipes with the same diameter and specification should use the same bending radius as far as possible, that is, use the same set of modules to bend pipes with different shapes, which is conducive to reducing the number of modules.
