The fully automatic working feature is the formation of pressure through two parallel hydraulic cylinders, which are vertically downward and can drive the bending beam mold for bending work. The typical bending process of an upper bending beam includes several stages and links, including downward movement, static state, pressure reduction, return, and so on:
1: Downward movement
The ordinary downward fast closing motion is generally adopted in the free fall type, which generates motion through its own weight; However, the production of the mold is not like this, but instead uses a hydraulic cylinder rodless chamber to generate pressure, resulting in a fast forward speed of 250mm/s, which is more suitable for the production of stronger molds.
The fast forward motion starts from the top dead center and ends with a brief brake at the end, such as bending the sheet for a certain distance, which can be adjusted according to different mold manufacturing requirements.
2: Stationary state
The fully automatic pipe bending machine is in the stationary position with the upper bending beam at the top dead center. This state is to prevent uncontrolled downward movement and reduce safety risks.
3: Decompression
The pressure reduction of the rodless cavity or starting after the holding time when reaching the bottom dead center can further improve the accuracy of the workpiece. Both pressure maintaining and pressure reducing can be commanded and controlled through the proportional directional valve. Customize the running cycle time as needed. When pressure reduction is required, it can be minimized as much as possible, but the pressure reduction curve should not be too steep and should be as stable as possible.
4: Return journey
This involves a large return speed, which mainly depends on the flow rate of the pump and the pressure bearing area of the hydraulic cylinder's rod cavity. In general, the closer to the fast speed, the higher the return efficiency. The return journey also requires synchronization.
5: Stamping and bending
The next stage is stamping and bending, which is a key link in the production of the pipe bending machine mold, and also the latter stage. The stamping speed is limited by the oil supply volume of the oil pump, and is also regulated by the manual intervention of the proportional valve direction valve.
